Rent and Utilities
A serious need exists in our community for assistance to the unemployed or the marginally employed. Many individuals and families are living just one paycheck away from being homeless or moving in with friends or relatives. Our Rent and Utilities Program, supported by individual donations and through agency grants, helps these people who desperately need a helping hand. Please contact our office if you would like learn a little more about it.
Rent/Utility assistance is handled through interviews scheduled on the first weekday of each month, starting at 1 p.m. in the St. Matthew Parish Hall. Download this two-page form (English and Spanish) for emergencies and for a jump start on the process:
