The St. Matthew Conference of St. Vincent de Paul has a very robust food distribution program. We receive fresh produce, dairy products, baked goods and meat daily, all generously donated by local suppliers. We also are partners with the Oregon Food Bank who supplies products at a very reasonable cost. We recently received a grant to enhance our food program from the State of Oregon through the "Healthy Pantry Program", of which we are very proud. Our "shopping cart" style of delivery provides our clients a method of selecting items according to their dietary needs and preferences. Healthy lunches are provided for the homeless clients. We are grateful to have individuals and businesses making these donations, the facilities and equipment to process and store them, and the volunteers to help receive and deliver them. It is truly a team effort in the Hillsboro community..
